This little light (2007)

Approximately 40% of the energy produced in the UK is wasted; leaving unused lights on is a massive contributor to this. ‘This Little Light’ attempts to make energy a more tangible and visible quantity to encourage better practice. Pull the light from the wall to activate and then watch it slowly return to its original position. The distance pulled dictates the amount of time the light stays on (with a limit of two hours) allowing the user to have intuitive control over their energy usage. ‘This Little Light’ encourages people to take care of the world they live in a playful and humorous way.
This Little Light is currently being redesigned for production.
